The BP Plus Portable antenna provides a great solution for walking surveys in low-flow water or for terrestrial detection. The updated design features collapsible, light-weight, ergo-dynamic handle with adjustable length, light-weight antenna, 8ft. antenna cable and a padded shoulder and chest harness. Designed for use with the HPR Plus Reader (sold separately).

BP Lite Portable Antenna
 

The fixed cord system is a portable PIT-tag detection system utilizing an IS1001 reader and a flexible direct burial cable. This versatile system is available in two configurations and the antenna can be deployed in pass-by or pass-through orientation. 
 

The IS1001 Cord Antenna System, designed for a variety of monitoring applications, is a portable PIT-tag system with a flexible cord antenna. This versatile system includes three components: portable enclosure, J-box, and cord antenna. The portable enclosure houses the IS1001, the reader platform of the cord system. The J-box provides the junction between the portable enclosure and the cord antenna.

Biomark Rigid and Inflatable Floating antennas, are an innovative approach to both stationary and mobile PIT-tag monitoring. Biomark offers two models, rigid and inflatable, both available in 10-foot lengths.

IS1001 Floating Antennas
 

We have updated and upgraded the very successful 3′ Submersible PIT-Tag Detection Antenna System. The new Biomark Submersible Antenna system incorporates a 3′, 5′, or 6’ diameter circular antenna, IS1001 reader with Bluetooth enabled data logger, and either a 70 Ah or 180 Ah LIFePO4 battery pack into one fully submersible PIT-Tag detection system that decodes ISO11784/11785 FDX-B and HDX PIT tags.

Pass-By | Pass-Through Antennas
 

This raft-based floating antenna system was developed to detect PIT tags while floating over them in streams or shallow ponds. This method allows researchers to actively scan for fish implanted with PIT-Tags instead of relying on the fish to pass by fixed antenna points. This method has been used very successfully in various river systems to increase the number of active re-sights and to investigate large scale habitat usage by PIT-Tagged fish. The Biomark Floating Antenna System incorporates two 10’x3’ inflatable antennas, with a specially designed frameless cataraft built by Aire Inc.
